  South Beach: Between the pastel Art Deco buildings, the white-sand beaches and the cocktails at sunset, Miami is a blend of glamour and laid-back vibes. Little Havana: A trip to Havana without leaving the USA: hand-rolled cigars, Cuban coffee strong as a punch and dominoes clacking in the parks. Our secret spot: Wynwood Walls, a neighborhood where street art explodes on every wall. Perfect for unique Instagram photos.

  Key West: the Island where everything is possible

  

  Head to Key West, the southernmost point of the United States, via the Keys islands and their turquoise waters. A sunset at Mallory Square: street performers, musicians, and a sun that plunges into the ocean… A tradition not to be missed. Ernest Hemingway’s house: discover where the famous writer lived (and where his six-toed cats still roam). Our favorite: Dry Tortugas, a national park accessible by seaplane or ferry, with a fortress in the middle of the ocean and turquoise waters as far as the eye can see.

  The Everglades: the call of the wild

  

  An airboat safari: glide over the marshes to observe alligators, herons and even Florida panthers (if you’re lucky!). A must-do: a night hike with a ranger to hear the sounds of nature (and maybe catch sight of shining eyes in the darkness…). Where to sleep? Everglades City and its typical lodges, or a campsite under the stars for the more adventurous.

  Crystal River: swim with the manatees

  

  A unique experience in the world: in the crystal-clear waters of Crystal River, you will swim alongside manatees, these gentle and curious giants. When to go? From November to March, when the manatees gather in the warm waters of the springs. Our advice: choose an early-morning excursion to avoid the crowd and enjoy a magical, intimate moment.

  Orlando and its theme parks

  

  Disney and Universal: of course, they are unmissable, but did you know that there are lesser-known parks like Legoland or SeaWorld? Our tip: buy your tickets online in advance and arrive early in the morning to avoid the lines.

  A fascinating detour on the Space Coast, where you discover the history of space exploration and, with a bit of luck, you witness a NASA rocket launch!
