From Toronto to MontrealMeet your guide and fellow travelers in Toronto and travel along the St. Lawrence Seaway to Montreal, the city of festivals and the largest French-speaking city outside Europe. On the way, we stop for a beautiful cruise in the Thousand Islands. Tonight, we will explore the vibrant nightlife of this wonderful city. (Thousand Islands boat cruise included).

MontrealTake advantage of some free time to explore the picturesque city of Montreal, including Mount Royal, the old town, shops, cathedrals, as well as cafés and bars. Bring your French dictionary to practice your language skills!
day 3
From Montreal to Rivière-du-LoupOur journey east continues as we cross the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River to our overnight destination, Rivière-du-Loup. Our travels take us along spectacular views through small French-speaking towns, founded by Basque fishermen from France more than 350 years ago. The Saint Lawrence changes from fresh water to salt water in this region, so watch out for seals and other marine animals! A group dinner at the inn is planned for this evening, followed by free time in the evening.

From Rivière-du-Loup to MonctonWe are going from Quebec to New Brunswick, the only officially bilingual province in Canada, so you can continue practicing your French! It is the homeland of the Acadians, a warm and friendly people, who have a proud history and a rich culture. Today, we see the longest covered bridge in the world, as well as the magnetic hill.

From Moncton to DigbyThis morning, we head towards the famous Bay of Fundy, passing through the Annapolis Valley. We spend tonight in the special town of Digby, a beautiful coastal town you will never forget. Group dinner this evening at the inn with Digby's famous scallops!
day 6
DigbyWe spend the day exploring this spectacular region, including clam digging on the beach (voted best activity!) and visiting the amazing Digby Neck. Tonight, we will spend another peaceful evening in this fishing town on the east coast.
day 7
From Digby to HalifaxToday, our visit takes us to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. Along the way, we will visit Peggy's Cove, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in the East, as well as Lunenburg, which is home to the famous Bluenose II schooner, known worldwide! We will spend the night in the lively city of Halifax!
day 8
HalifaxEnjoy plenty of free time to explore Halifax on foot today. There is a lot to see and do in this maritime city! Later in the afternoon, we will visit the famous Alexander Keith's Brewery, the oldest brewery in Canada. Then, we will have a group dinner in a local pub!
day 9
From Halifax to Pleasant BayThis morning, we will meet all the passengers during our excursion to Puffin, then we will head towards the incredible region known as the Cape Breton Highlands, which is home to Canada's Scottish heritage. We will have several breathtaking photo stops along the way and we will walk on the famous Skyline Trail, where we will keep an eye out for moose! Tonight, we are staying in a lovely youth hostel located on the Cape Breton road.
day 10
Cape BretonYou will have the opportunity to go on a superb whale watching excursion this morning ($50 / €33), where you can see humpback whales, Minke whales, and sometimes dolphins and seals! After the cruise, we will visit some beautiful areas of the park, including MacIntosh Brook and Black Brook Beach. Tonight, we will relax in front of a campfire on the beach, under the stars!
day 11
From Pleasant Bay to Bear on the LakeToday, we continue to explore the Cape Breton region. We visit Ingonish Beach and hike the Middle Head trail, where we discover the spectacular views of the coastal cliffs! Tonight, we relax by the lake and roast marshmallows over the campfire!
day 12
Cape BretonToday, we will visit Louisbourg and you can choose to visit the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. This fort was founded in 1713 by the French and developed over several decades to become a prosperous center for fishing and trade. Its two sieges, especially the one in 1758, marked a turning point in the Anglo-French struggle for what Canada is today. Tonight, we are staying at the Bear on the Lake Inn.

From Bear on the Lake to CharlottetownThis morning, we are heading to Prince Edward Island, the smallest and greenest province in Canada. We are taking a beautiful drive and a ferry to the island. Upon our arrival, we will explore Charlottetown, the birthplace of the signing of the Canadian Confederation!

Prince Edward IslandToday, we continue to explore Prince Edward Island, visiting Cavendish Beach as well as the beautiful family home of Anne of Green Gables.
day 15
From Charlottetown to MonctonWe are leaving today for New Brunswick by crossing the Confederation Bridge, which is 13 km long, and we are taking a lobster boat cruise with a fresh lobster lunch. We will also visit Hopewell Rocks, an extraordinary area of the Bay of Fundy. This is where you can see and learn about the incredible tidal changes, which are among the highest in the world! Tonight, we will stay in Moncton. Join your guide for a walk and an evening in the city!
day 16
From Moncton to the city of QuebecQuebec is our destination today! Stopping first at Montmorency Falls, which are 1.5 times higher than Niagara Falls, we arrive in Quebec around lunchtime. Quebec is the only fortified city in North America and a spectacular place! Tonight, we can enjoy poutine or crepes to taste the local flavors. Bon appétit!
day 17
The city of QuebecWe are taking the time today to stroll along the narrow sidewalks and cobblestone streets, visiting shops, museums, and cafés. We will enjoy another group dinner at our hostel, then tonight, we can visit a local bar to listen to live music!
day 18
From the city of Quebec to OttawaToday, we are traveling through the countryside of the beautiful province and we will go to Ottawa, the capital of Canada. After checking in at our hostel, join your guide for a guided tour of the city up to Parliament Hill, then finish at the ByWard Market, where we can sit in an outdoor café and enjoy the atmosphere.

OttawaThere is more time today to explore this beautiful city. You can choose to visit a museum, go shopping, or cycle along the Rideau Canal.
day 20
From Ottawa to TorontoThe last day of our incredible visit! Today we are heading to Toronto for a picnic at Sandbanks Provincial Park, on one of the most beautiful beaches in Ontario! We arrive in Toronto around 6 p.m. to drop you off at your downtown hostel.
