Arrival in KathmanduUpon arrival, a representative of our team will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel, then a quick information meeting about the upcoming trekking program. Overnight at the hotel.
day 2
Flight to Lukla and trek towards Phakding (2610 m)Departure early in the morning to take your flight to Lukla (about 40 minutes). The sherpas will be present on site. The trek begins in Lukla, following the Dudh Kosi river to reach Phakding, which will take about 4 hours of walking. The route will pass through the villages of Choplung, Thado Koshi, and Ghat. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Phakding.
day 3
Phakding-Namche (3440 m)Trek to Namche, the village of the Sherpas, passing through the thick forest, crossing suspension bridges (Koshi Dudh, Chumao, and the village of Manjo), and finally arriving at Sagarmatha National Park in Jorsalle. The last two hours of trekking to Namche Bazaar through the jungle are particularly intense. It is at this stage that it is possible to see the majestic Mount Everest for the first time. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Namche.
day 4
Acclimatization in Namche (3440 m)Ascent to the villages of Khunde and Khumjung. The latter is the largest village in the Khumbu region. After lunch, walk back to Namche. Dinner and overnight in Namche.
day 5
Namche to Phorche Tanga (3680 m)The first part of the path is gentle, with an easy ascent passing through the Khumjung and Dudhkoshi valley. The trail is winding; sometimes, it is only used by mountain goats. Dinner and overnight in Phorche Tanga.
day 6
Phortse Tanga to MachhermoThe trail crosses the forest to reach a magnificent panorama of Cho Oyu (8,201 m), a peak with eternal snows in the Khumbu Himalaya. Night in Machhermo.
day 7
Machhermo to the Gokyo valley (4790 m)The path is very winding. The view of the mountains from the Gokyo area is breathtaking. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Gokyo.
day 8
Excursion to the Gokyo Lake ValleyEarly in the morning, ascent of Gokyo Ri (5463 m), from where you can admire Mount Everest (8848 m), Mount Cho Oyu (8153 m), Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, and many others…Return trek in the Gokyo valley. Depending on your physical condition, it is possible to continue towards the 5<sup>th</sup> lake, Ngozumba (4990 m), near which the view of Mount Everest is particularly impressive.Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Gokyo.
day 9
Gokyo Valley at Chola Pass (5,368 m) to Dzonglha (5,420 m)The route descends from the Gokyo valley to pass near the second lake. About half of the excursion will take place between the first and the second lake, crossing the Chola pass (5368 m) and passing through the village of Dragnak. The slope is steep. Once at the top, the descent will be slower, passing by small frozen lakes to finally reach Dzonglha. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Dzonglha.
day 10
Dzonglha to Lobuche (4930 m)The hike of the day, heading towards the village of Pheriche, requires about 4 hours of walking. The rest of the day will be devoted to walks in the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Lobuche.
day 11
Lobuche to Gorak Shep and walk to Everest Base Camp.This new day of trekking will take place along the left side of the Khumbu glacier, with a view of the north face of the Everest, Pumori, Khumbutse, and Kala Patthar (5545 m) mountains. The first view of Kala Patthar is revealed after a long walk on a rocky path. Once in Gorek Shep, the excursion continues to the Everest base camp, passing through various elevations. The Khumbutse and Khumbu glaciers do not make progress easy. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Gorek Shep.
day 12
Gorek Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) to Pheriche (4,280 m)In the early morning, walk towards Kala Patthar while admiring the magnificent Himalayan range: Mount Everest (8848 m), Mount Pumori (7165 m), Mount Lhotse (8516 m), Mount Nuptse (7864 m), Mount Ama Dablam, as well as the peaks of Tawache, Cholatse, and Lingtren. From one massif to another, the view is superb. The walk continues towards Gorak Shep, passing through Lobuche and Dhugla. Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Pheriche.
day 13
Pheriche to Tengboche (3890 m)Day filled with crossings of villages, Buddhist monasteries, bridges, and waterfalls… Today, trek towards Tengboche (3890 m). Dinner and overnight at the local lodge in Tengboche.
day 14
Tengboche to Namche (2800 m)The trek begins with the crossing of the pine and rhododendron forest of Fungethaga. The slope of the trail is steady; it rises gently towards Namche, passing through Trashinga and the village of Sanasa. The view is magnificent over the Khumbu Himalaya from the village of Sanasa. Dinner and overnight in Namche.
day 15
Namche (2800 m) to LuklaThe slope to descend through the pine and rhododendron forest of Jorsale is steep. It takes about two hours of walking to reach Mojo and an additional five hours to reach Lukla, passing through Phakding, Ghats Khola, Chaurikharka, and Chheplung. Dinner and overnight in Lukla.
day 16
Lukla to Kathmandu, morning flight.After breakfast, flight to Kathmandu (about 40 minutes). Transfer to the hotel upon arrival, then free time. Overnight at the hotel.
day 17
KathmanduIn the morning: free time. In the afternoon, visit of Swayambhunath, the "Monkey Temple", one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Kathmandu.
day 18
DepartureTransfer to Kathmandu airport for your return flight.
