• day 1

  France / Delhi

  Welcome at the airport by our team and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 2

  Delhi / Bagdogra / Gangtok

  After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport to take a flight to Bagdogra. Reception upon arrival at Bagdogra airport and transfer to Gangtok. Check-in at the hotel. Free evening. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 3

  Gangtok

  After breakfast, visit the capital of the Sikkim region, "Gangtok", once an important city on the Silk Road between India and Tibet. You will start your visit with the Rumtek Monastery, the largest monastery in the Eastern Himalayas, built in Tibetan architecture. Next, visit another monastery where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayan range. Visit the Institute of Tibetology Research (closed on Sundays), then the Enchey Monastery. In the evening, enjoy the view from the Nam Nam viewpoint. Then, visit the Gangtok market. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 4

  Gangtok / Lachung

  After breakfast, departure for the village of Lachung. Check-in at Lachung, the most picturesque village in the Sikkim region. In the late afternoon, visit to the Lachung monastery. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 5

  Lachung / Yumthang / Lachung

  After breakfast, departure for Yumthang, an hour's drive from the village. Yumthang Valley is known for its hot spring and the gateway to the Himalayan desert. Then, return to Lachung and explore the village. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 6

  Lachung / Gangtok

  Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Gangtok. On the way, panoramic view of the Kanchendzonga mountains (depending on weather conditions). Check-in at the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 7

  Gangtok / Pelling

  Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for Pelling. Check-in at Pelling and free time. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 8

  Pelling

  After breakfast, enjoy visiting the beautiful places of Pelling. Also visit the Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopari lake, and Kanchenjunga waterfalls. This afternoon, we will visit the Pemayangtse monastery and the village of Dentam. Return to the hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 9

  Pelling / Yuksom

  After breakfast, departure for Yuksom. Stop en route to visit Khecheopalri Lake, one of the most sacred lakes in Buddhism. Check-in at Yuksom. In the afternoon, visit Dhubdi Monastery, built in the 17th century and considered the oldest in the region, as well as a visit to Tashi Namgyal, the throne of the first king of Sikkim. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 10

  Yuksom / Kalimpong

  After breakfast, departure to Kalimpong. Check-in at Kalimpong. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 11

  Kalimpong / Darjeeling

  Morning: visit of the Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang monastery, as well as Tharpa Choling, Thongsa Gumpa and the flower nurseries. Then, drive to Darjeeling. Check-in at Darjeeling. Free evening in Darjeeling. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 12

  Darjeeling

  Very early in the morning, departure for Tiger Hills to admire the panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga (depending on weather conditions). On the way back, visit to the Ghoom Monastery and return to the hotel. Then, in the afternoon, visit to the Padmaja Naidu Botanical Park (closed on Thursdays), the Tibetan Refugee Camp (closed on Sundays), and the tea plantation. Free evening. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 13

  Darjeeling / Ride on the Toy Train / Darjeeling

  After breakfast, departure for a ride on a small train crossing the Darjeeling valley and the tea plantations (2-hour ride). Then, return to the hotel and visit the local markets of Darjeeling. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 14

  Darjeeling / Bagdogra / Delhi

  Transfer to Bagdogra airport to take your flight to Delhi. Welcome upon arrival at Delhi airport and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, visit to India Gate, a memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who died during the First World War in the British Indian Army and during the Anglo-Afghan wars. Farewell dinner and transfer to Delhi International Airport to take your return flight.
