• day 1

  Your arrival

  Arrival at Djerba-Zarzis airport according to the flight schedule. Welcome, then transfer to the Sangho Club Zarzis 3* hotel. Check-in to your bungalow, dinner and overnight stay.

• day 2

  Zarzis / Médenine / Gabès / Gafsa / Tozeur 290 km

  Departure from Sangho Club Zarzis early in the morning for Médenine, visit of the ghorfas of Métameur, then continuation to Gabès. Lunch and visit of the maritime oasis and the spice market. Continuation to Gafsa, then Tozeur. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Tozeur.

• day 3

  Tozeur / Metlaoui and Red Lizard / Mountain oasis / Tozeur 170 km

  Departure for Métlaoui and boarding the Lézard Rouge (depending on the season), this old small train that France had given to the Bey of Tunis. An hour and a half of wonder through the Selja gorges with their steep walls. Return to the Métlaoui station and lunch, then departure towards the mountain oases: Moulares, Redeyef, Mides, Tamerza, and Chébika, before continuing to Tozeur. Return to the hotel in Tozeur, dinner and overnight stay.

• day 4

  Tozeur / Nefta / Douz 185 km

  In the morning, walk in Nefta, the Corbeille du Désert, then return to Tozeur to visit the museum, the old town, and the oasis. Crossing the Chott El Djérid (salt lake), 60 km in a world of silence where mirages sometimes appear. Arrival in Douz for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Saharan oases of Blidet and Nouil. Walk or camel ride for about an hour and a half (optional and with extra charge). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Douz.

• day 5

  Douz / Tamezret / Matmata / Bir Soltane / Ksar Ghilane or Tataouine, 230 km

  In the morning, visit the souks of Douz and its market. Continuation to Matmata and visit of the troglodyte dwellings. Lunch, then departure along Colonel Leclerc's track towards Bir Soltane and Ksar Ghilane (depending on the season). Camel ride (optional and with extra charge). Dinner and overnight at Sangho Tataouine or dinner around a campfire and overnight in Berber tents.

• day 6

  Ksar Ghilane or Tataouine / Ksar Haddada / Tataouine 160 km

  After breakfast, departure via the Beni Khedache track, visit of Ksar Haddada near Tataouine. Lunch at Sangho Privilège Tataouine. In the afternoon, visit of the Berber villages of Douiret and Guermessa, perched on top of rocky peaks and offering a beautiful panorama of the whole region. Dinner and overnight at Sangho Privilège Tataouine.

• day 7

  Tataouine / Djerba / Zarzis 156 km

  In the morning, departure for the island of Djerba. Visit to the village of Guellala, famous for its potters, then stroll or shopping in the souks of Houmt Souk, the main town of the island. Continuation to Zarzis. Check-in at the Sangho Club Zarzis hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

  Tunisia / France

  Breakfast and transfer to Djerba airport for departure to France, depending on the return flight schedule.
