Trip Description

More than just a simple photo workshop, we offer you a true immersion into the life of a wildlife photographer. You will of course learn to master the technique and settings of the camera, but also to understand how to approach animals in the mountains without disturbing them. You will be able to photograph foxes, roe deer, stags, falcons and, if you are lucky, wolves and lynxes. For 6 days, you will live with Fabien Bruggmann, an expert in wildlife photography known worldwide for his pictures of wolves and lynxes. You will stay in the chalet he renovated himself, in the heart of the Haut-Jura Natural Park.

day 6
Last day of the photo workshop.
After these few soothing days immersed in nature, it's time to leave! Say goodbye to Fabien and head off by car. If you are coming by train, Fabien will take you to the station at the time of your choice.
day 1
Arrival and first walk
Free arrival near the village of Lamoura. After settling into the chalet, Fabien will take you for a first walk, camera in hand. You will have the opportunity to talk about your goals and your level in photography, then to start the photography workshop.
day 2
The approach of animals
Today, you will learn the art of approach. Fabien will explain how to find animal tracks without scaring them, in order to capture magnificent shots. You will have the opportunity to photograph, among others, chamois and golden eagles.
day 3
Your first hide
Very early this morning, you leave for your first hide. This is the technique used by photographers to take their best shots. You need to find a suitable area, camouflage yourself and wait for the arrival of foxes, deer, wild boars, marmots and, if you are (very) lucky, wolves and lynxes.
day 4
The morning watch
For this last day in the company of Fabien, you leave at night for a mountain hike. You will need to arrive before sunrise to take part in another unforgettable hide, with the magnificent lights of dawn and the majestic view over Lake Geneva.
day 5
First solo outing
Because solitude brings the emotion necessary for a beautiful photo, today you set out alone to meet the animals. Following Fabien's advice, you will use the techniques learned over the previous days to take your first great wildlife photo!
