Discover Tarangire National Park, admire the flamingos at Lake Natron, climb Mount Ol Donyolengai, an active volcanic mountain, and visit the waterfalls. Go on a 4x4 safari in Lake Manyara National Park, a 4x4 safari in the Ngorongoro Crater floor, as well as a safari in Serengeti National Park to observe the wildebeest migration. Also visit the Bushmen and other bush tribes at Lake Eyasi.

    Arusha National Park - Half a day of trekking and half a day of animal watching.

    Meet your professional driver-guide at your hotel in the city of Arusha at 8:30 am, then head towards Arusha National Park for a half-day hike with an armed ranger around the park. Arusha National Park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mount Meru, the Momela Lakes, the Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that cover its lower slopes. Enjoy a half-day of game viewing around the Momela Lakes with a picnic until late afternoon. Drive to the Mc Ellys Hotel in Arusha or a similar establishment for the night, breakfast, and accommodation.

    Tarangire National Park - safari

    After breakfast, at 9:30 am, departure by car with a picnic box for Tarangire National Park for a full day safari. Tarangire National Park covers 2,600 square kilometers and, during the dry season, the concentration of animals rivals that of the much better-known Serengeti. The number of game animals is staggering: for example, 30,000 zebras, 25,000 wildebeest, 5,000 buffalo, 3,000 elephants, 2,500 Masai giraffes, and more than 1,000 fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators include lions, cheetahs, and leopards. There are also flocks of birds: for example, the hoopoe, the Fischer's lovebird, the white-bellied go-away-bird, and the giant kingfisher. Transfer to Tarangire Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

    Tarangire National Park - Lake Natron

    Early in the morning, at 5:30 am, have your breakfast and depart for a sunrise safari until 8:00 am, then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you can spend the day observing wildlife and picnicking with your packed lunch on the way to Lake Natron. Arrival at the Lake Natron tented camp in the afternoon, then drive to the lake and take a short walk around the lake. Lake Natron is one of the main breeding areas for flamingos. In the evening, visit the nearby waterfalls for a swim in the river and visit a Maasai family for a short cultural interaction. Late in the evening, drive to Lake Natron Tented Camp or similar for dinner and overnight.

    Early at 01:00, have a cup of coffee, then drive to the starting point of Mt Ol Donyo Lengai. The ascent to the summit takes about 4 to 5 hours. The climb is arduous and requires a person in good physical condition. Arrive at the summit just before sunrise. The volcanic crater of Lengai looks like a field infested with red fire insects just before sunrise. An amazing site to visit. Walk around the active crater after sunrise, then retrace your steps back to the base. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to descend. Your driver will be waiting for you there and will take you to the camp for a hot lunch and some rest, dinner, and a night at Lake Natron Tented Camp or similar.

    Safari in Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, set off for a full-day safari, with a picnic, in Serengeti National Park. The vast plains of the Serengeti are home to a wide variety of animals and bird species. Take the opportunity to observe thousands of wild animals. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp.

    Early, at 5:45 am, have your breakfast and leave for the sunrise as well as the morning game drive until 12:30 pm; then return to camp to have your picnic. We can spend time at the Hippo pool to observe these majestic animals lazing in the cool water, living joyfully alongside crocodiles. We can also observe a large pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras traveling with the wildebeest. We will go from the large open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops offer protection and shelter to a wide variety of animals and, from the top, we can observe the vast Serengeti grasslands.

    Serengeti National Park - Edge of the Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast, you can observe the animals on the way and have a picnic. You will then visit the small but very interesting Dr. historical museum. Ascent of the plains up to the edge of the Ngorongoro crater for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or similar.

    At 6 a.m., take your picnic and descend more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for 6 hours of game viewing. The Ngorongoro National Park is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another asset of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, among which are lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the always elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of pink flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen there. In the late evening, drive to the Octagon Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

    Lake Manyara National Park - game viewing

    After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a full day of safari with a picnic in Lake Manyara National Park. This national park, located at the foot of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, is one of the wildest areas in Tanzania. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of the largest concentrations of African elephants. The unique character of Lake Manyara includes tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the lake's algae. Drive to the Octagon Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.
