Located in a charming agricultural estate, surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees, a few minutes from the sea and at the foot of the Madonie Regional Park, we invite you to plan your excursions and discoveries together: Céfalu, Caccamo, the Regional Park of Madonie, the largest area for the preservation of Sicilian traditions, but also the cultural and natural treasures of the northern coast of Sicily to explore on foot.

Day 1 : Arrival in Palermo

Arrival at the airport, welcome and accommodation. You can take advantage of the time available for a walk in the village of Lascari and the beautiful beaches. Dinner and overnight stay.




Day 2 : Cefalu and the temple of Diana and Grateri

Day hike 4h - 300 m  

Discovery of the picturesque village of Céfalu. Starting from the bay and its golden beaches, we cross an ancient village built on a rocky massif, the medieval alleys, the wash house, the Arab-Norman cathedral. Climb the promontory overlooking the village to reach the Greek remains of the temple of Diana and enjoy the first breathtaking panorama.




Day 3 : Madonie Regional Park and Pizzo Carbonara

Day trip - 6 hours walk - 500 m ascent 

Excursion to the peaks of the Madonie, we will pass at sea level, we will see citrus groves, terraces of olive trees, chestnut trees, then beech and fir trees until we reach the peaked mountains of Pizzo Carbonara and Piano Battaglia. The walk will be slow and contemplative and will give us the opportunity to observe the ecosystem but also a spatular panorama on the Tyranian Sea...

We'll come back down, stopping at a farm that makes the famous Ricotta cheese, come and taste some fresh ricotta.




Day 4 : Palermo and Monte Pelegrino

Day hike of 3 hours - 400 m

A day combining cultural discovery and sports activities. We will devote a large part of the day to discovering Palermo in the company of a tour guide, 2 to 3 hours of "city walking" around the most beautiful buildings that bear witness to 2000 invasions and the overlapping of civilizations. After a free lunch on the markets, we will cross the large city parks to reach Monte Pellegrino, the rock that dominates the Gulf of Palermo and houses the sanctuary of Santa Rosalia.




Day 5 : Caccamo and Monte San Calogero

Day hike adapted from 6 h to 8 h 700 of ascent

Depending on the level of the group.

Excursion in the hinterland around the natural reserve of Mount San Calogero. On the little known paths we will alternate the discovery of the remains of holy places, hermitages, visit of the splendid castle of Caccamo and the views on the peaks of the coastal landscapes from Cephalu to the peninsula of Solunto...




Day 6 : Solunto and Porticello

Half-day hike 3 h - 400 m ascent

Excursion around the fishing port of Porticello, which supplies fish to the markets of Palermo, the mount of Solunto, which juts out into the sea like a vanguard post, was the first city occupied by the Greeks before the creation of Palermo. The archaeological site, little known to the general public, reveals the remains of a city that has nothing to envy to the sites of ancient Greece... We will be able to enjoy a final panorama of the Gulf of Palermo as far as the first reliefs of Calabria.

You can take advantage of this day to relax in the beautiful surroundings of your accommodation or on the beaches of Lascari and Cefalù. You can go to Palermo by train or take one of the optional excursions at extra cost
