Jour 1 et 2: Parc Imfolozi de Hluhluwe Notre safari commence, Nous partirons alors de Johannesburg pour Hluhluwe et passerons deux nuits dans la réserve de Hluhluwe à Hilltop resort. La réserve de Hluhluwe est l'une des plus célèbres et exclusives réserves de gibier en raison de la forte population de rhinocéros et du paysage pittoresque. Nous aurons un petit tour de gibier au coucher du soleil le jour de l'arrivée. Le jour suivant, le lever du soleil vous laissera des souvenirs inoubliables de la faune et de la belle lumière du soleil sur les collines. Day 3-4: Lake Jozini – 100km After enjoying the beautiful sunrise over the hills and breakfast, we drive out of the park heading to Nompondo village for a short walk and homestead visit to see how Zulu people lives and learn a more about their culture. After the village walk, we drive to Jozini where we will spend two nights. The following day we have a free morning for optional activities, hiking and birds watching, kayaking, abseiling and game viewing to name a few. 2 x B Lodge/Overnight: Jozini Tiger Lodge & Spa Day 3: Breakfast is included and served by the restaurant : Lunch at own expense Activities included: Nompondo village (walking tour) and the local school visit Day 4: Breakfast included and served in the restaurant : Lunch at own expense : Dinner at own expense Activities included: None, but the lodge offers variety of optional activities (mentioned on the itinerary)
Day 5: Swaziland – 221km After breakfast we drive pass the small town of Jozini to Swaziland. We stamp out of South Africa and stamp into the Kingdom of Swaziland. We drive through the small villages of the Swaziland towards Ezulwini valley/Mlilwane Nature reserve where we will overnight. Swaziland is one of the smallest countries within South Africa with a very strong culture. We stop at the local candle factory for hand crafted souvenirs before checking in to the lodge. In the evening we sit around the fire with warthogs before we go for dinner. If time allows us on the following morning, we stop in one of the biggest local craft market. 1 x B & 1 x D Lodge/Overnight: Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary Day 5: Breakfast is included and served by the lodge : Lunch at own expense : Dinner is included and served in the restaurant (buffet) Activities included: entrance fees and a short sunset walk within the sanctuary.
Day 6-7: Kruger National park – 326 km The day unfolds with an early breakfast while enjoying the birds viewing on the pond along the restaurant deck, and we leave Mlilwane just after breakfast. We drive towards the North East of Swaziland heading to Mpumalanga province. We stop at the border to tamp out of Swaziland and into South Africa. Our next stop is the most famous Kruger National Park. We have more chances to spot the famous Big 5, we have a sunset game drive and one long morning game drive. Day 8-9: Blyde River Canyon – 115km After our early breakfast we do a short game drive towards the exit heading to Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world. We stop at Hazeyview for a quick shopping. Our lodge offers breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon. We have a day visit to the canyon, God's window, Mac Mac Falls and Booker’s Luck potholes and late afternoon is free. 2 x B & 2 x D Lodge/Overnight: Blyde River Lodge or Westlodge B&B Day 8: Breakfast is included and served from the restaurant : Lunch is not included : Dinner is included and served in the restaurant Day 9: Breakfast included and served in the restaurant : Lunch not included : Dinner is included and served in the restaurant Activities included: Mac Mac Falls, Gods Window, Potholes and Blyde River Canyon viewpoint (no hiking included, only on request)
Day 10: Johannesburg – 382km We leave Blyde River Canyon after enjoying the sunrise and the breakfast heading to Johannesburg. We drive through the famous Panorama route with beautiful scenic views.
