    After arriving at Ivato Airport, the journey begins eastward through the lush highlands. Terraced rice fields and lively markets line the road to Andasibe, a famous rainforest reserve. Explore, with a specialist guide, in search of the famous Indri indri, the largest living lemur. The park is also home to endemic birds, orchids, and reptiles. Visit a private reserve in the afternoon. Overnight in Andasibe. Return to Antananarivo, then head south along the legendary RN7. Arrival in Antsirabe, a charming colonial town with thermal springs. Ride in a rickshaw. Overnight in Antsirabe.

    Ranomafana

    After Antsirabe, travel to the Ranomafana region. Ranomafana, a UNESCO-listed national park, is one of the most important protected forests in Madagascar. Guided hikes to observe the rare golden bamboo lemur, endemic birds, and waterfalls. Night in Ranomafana.

    Leave the forest and stop in Fianarantsoa, the cultural capital of the south, then continue to Ambalavao. Visit the Anja Community Reserve and its ring-tailed lemurs among the granite rocks. Optional: Antemoro paper workshop. Overnight in Ambalavao. Cross the Horombe plateau, with its endless horizons and its herds of zebu. Arrive in Isalo, an emblematic sandstone massif. Hike through canyons and natural pools, with encounters with ring-tailed lemurs and sifakas. Overnight in Isalo.

    After the terrestrial adventures, the journey turns towards the ocean. Crossing arid landscapes dotted with baobabs and carved Mahafaly tombs, then arriving on the south-west coast for three well-deserved days of relaxation in Ifaty.
