  Bike graffiti tour

  

  The city of Bogotá sees, around the corner of its streets, a wide variety of graffiti and street art works, which offer themselves to the view of the cyclist out for a ride. Colorful, artistic, dogmatic and amusing, we discover them during a 4h tour passing through the most representative street art spots, such as the Candelaria district and the campus of the National University, accompanied by a local guide who is an expert in the field.   Comuna 13: history and transformation

  

  Comuna 13 in Medellín, once one of the neighborhoods most affected by violence, has today become a symbol of resilience and urban culture, as well as one of the city’s main tourist attractions. Walking through its streets means discovering its history through colorful murals, its iconic escalators, and its viewpoints offering breathtaking views over the city. Between hip-hop shows and community initiatives, this visit blends memory, art, and social transformation, perfectly illustrating how culture has been able to change the destiny of a territory. This visit will begin in the lively center of Medellín in order to immerse you in the city’s daily life and to feel the local energy, before heading to Comuna 13. Guided by the authentic stories of the residents, you will understand the major impact of the escalators on the neighborhood’s transformation. To conclude this experience, you will take the country’s most innovative public transport system (metro and cable car), while discovering the incredible urban transformation that has made Medellín a global reference.   Flight to the Pacific

  

  A car will take you from the hotel to Medellín Airport (EOH). Journey time: about 15 minutes. Domestic flight to Nuquí (not included). The Pacific coast stretches from the border with Panama to that with Ecuador over a length of 1,300 km. This region has the greatest biodiversity in the country and it is the least populated. The Pacific is also the tropical rainforest, mangroves, virgin beaches, surprising biodiversity, whales, and Black communities of African descent. El Almejal has its own nature reserve, an ecosystem specific to tropical forests that the hotel dedicates to conservation and raising awareness about ecology and responsible tourism. Welcome at Nuquí airport and transfer to La Bayka hotel. Settle into your room, then free afternoon to enjoy the exceptional environment.   Today, departure for a sea outing to observe whales. This exceptional mammal travels up the South American coasts each year in search of calmer waters for its offspring. Between the months of June and September, the Colombian Pacific coast is a strategic place to observe the animal, attracted by its calm and deep waters.   Back to Medellin

  Guatapé, an atypical and colorful village

  

  

  Private transport from Medellín to Guatapé, waiting time and return to Medellín. Free time to explore this charming little village on your own and, why not, take an excursion to the rock known as Piedra el Peñol. The "Piedra del Peñol" is a 220-meter monolith, an enormous granitic mass composed of quartz, feldspar and mica, which was climbed in 1954 by a local resident, Luis Eduardo Villegas López. Guatapé has gained popularity over the years, not only for this unusual rock, but also because, from the top of the stairs, you can see extraordinary lagoons where it is possible to go boating (or practice other water sports).
