Vast and silent, Namibia fascinates with its breathtaking landscapes: the glowing red dunes of the Namib, the jagged mountains of Damaraland, the endless plains of Etosha, the vertiginous canyons of Fish River, the Caprivi forest, Chobe National Park in Botswana and, to finish, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Each horizon seems unreal, sculpted by wind and time. Here, the road itself is an adventure. On gravel tracks bordered by silence and immensity, you chart your own route. A road trip in total freedom, far from the crowds, where every detour leads to the unexpected. Namibia is also a model of sustainable tourism. Ethical safaris, eco-friendly lodges and conservation projects involving local communities create a rare balance between nature, culture and respect. Himba peoples, desert elephants, starry skies as far as the eye can see: Namibia is not visited, it is lived. It is a land of essentials, raw, beautiful and unforgettable. This tour is complementary with Botswana and Zimbabwe.

jour 1
Welcome and city tour of Windhoek
Welcome by our representative, French-speaking guide, at the airport. The latter will be at your disposal for all the necessary formalities. Panoramic tour of the city of Windhoek: the church, the station and the Windhoek museum will be among your points of interest.
jour 2
The Kalahari Desert
Discovery drive through the longitudinal dunes of the Kalahari Desert in a 4x4 with a ranger, in the morning, to encounter its rich wildlife. This drive has a great animal surprise in store for you, which you will discover as the drive unfolds.

The Namib Desert
Visit of the longitudinal dunes along the valley, with a short stop at dune 45. Departure towards Sossusvlei, where the last 5 kilometers will be done in 4x4 to reach the second parking lot. Walk to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, a dried-up valley in the middle of the red dunes, 1/3 of which is covered with dead trees. Walk and visit in the late afternoon in the Sesriem canyon: 30 to 45 min visit in a historic conglomerate formation.

The coastal area
On the way to the city of Swakopmund. A few important stops, including: at the Tropic of Capricorn and at the great lunar landscape of the Kuiseb, before arriving in the stone desert and the Skeleton Coast. Visit of the city of Swakopmund.

The coastal zone
A morning boat excursion will be planned on the lagoon, in search of dolphins, fur seals and different types of birds. Discover, in the afternoon, Sandwich Harbour, a unique place where the dunes meet the sea, accompanied by an experienced guide and aboard a 4x4 vehicle. “ Tasting of delicious local oysters, with sparkling wine included ”

Damaraland
Departure for an open-top 4x4 excursion with a ranger, in search of desert elephants in the vast expanses of Damaraland, specifically in the riverbeds. “An activity of 2 to 3 hours in the late afternoon”

Damaraland
Walk and visit to discover Bushman rock engravings and paintings: a walk of about 1h30 along the red sandstone walls, dating back thousands of years. This large concentration of engravings, 2 to 3 thousand years old, has been protected for tourist visits. Then visit the basalt organs and the burnt mountain, two volcanic sites.

Okaokoland
Guided tour of the Himba people in their traditional village in the afternoon, a semi-nomadic people whose women coat their skin and hair with a mixture of butter: a purely African experience, in the colors of ancestral Africa.

Etosha National Park
Full-day safari and crossing of the park with your driver-guide, in your vehicle, from the West zone to the East zone.

The Kavango region
Magnificent afternoon boat excursion on the Okavango River, heading towards Popa Falls. Receive plenty of explanations about the wildlife, accompanied by a guide who will share their knowledge and answer all your questions.

The Caprivi Strip
Morning excursion with your guide and vehicle on dirt tracks, in the Mahango Reserve, Namibia’s smallest wildlife reserve, to discover its unique wildlife richness, with the possibility of seeing roan antelopes, buffalo, lions, leopards and other surprises along the Okavango River. Afternoon excursion with an expert lodge ranger for a discovery safari in the Bwabwata “Horseshoe” park and along the Kwando River.

Chobe National Park - Botswana
Large cruise in the afternoon until sunset on the Chobe River, to meet the many families of elephants, buffalo and hippopotamuses in the region, until the best light of sunset.

Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe
A guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, on the Zimbabwe side, in the afternoon, passing by numerous viewpoints overlooking these elegant falls, among the most exceptional on the planet. “From the viewpoints, the spectacle is particularly remarkable due to their unique layout, allowing the river to plunge into a long fissure in the plateau, then to escape through a narrow canyon.”
