This 5-day trek in the Drâa Valley combines adventure, cultural immersion, and grand landscapes. You cross lush palm groves, fortified villages, and dunes, while discovering the daily life of the inhabitants. Nights are spent in a bivouac or in traditional camps, offering evenings under an incomparable starry sky. Each day alternates walking and exploration, with routes suited to hikers in good physical condition. This trek is ideal for those who wish to combine hiking, culture, and immersion in the Moroccan desert.

Programme du séjour

jour 1
Marrakech - Drâa Valley - Insrate dunes
Departure from Marrakech by minibus to the Drâa Valley, via the Tizi Tichka pass and Ouarzazate. After about 6 h 30 on the road through the landscapes of the Atlas and the desert, arrival at the Nsrate camp in the afternoon. Settle in at the bivouac and overnight under a tent, in the heart of the dunes.

Insrate Dunes - Sidi Salh Palm Grove - Larjam Dunes
You start the day with a walk over small dunes dotted with tamarisks, before crossing the lush palm groves and traditional villages of the Drâa Valley, where local life unfolds to the rhythm of crops and oases. In the afternoon, the trek continues towards the Larjame dunes, offering more open desert landscapes and an atmosphere typical of southern Morocco. Duration: 4 to 5 h of walking Night: bivouac under a tent in the heart of the dunes

Larjam Dunes - Desert plateau - Regabi dunes
The day begins with crossing a rocky plateau, offering wild and desert-like panoramas, in a peaceful atmosphere, far from any human presence. As the walk goes on, the dunes gradually appear on the horizon, heralding the arrival at the dunes of Regabi. This contrast between mineral terrain and expanses of sand makes the stage particularly spectacular. Duration: 4 to 5 h of walking Night: bivouac under a tent in the heart of the dunes

Regabi Dunes - Oud Draa - Oulad Driss Village
Last stage of the trek: about 3 h 30 of walking to reach the Oulad Driss palm grove, crossing the dunes, the plateaus and the banks of the Drâa wadi. Along the way, discovery of the traditional village of Bounou. Arrival at the end of the day in Oulad Driss for the night, in a bivouac or at a campsite, in the heart of the palm grove.

Oulad Driss - Drâa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Transfer to Marrakech by taxi or minibus, depending on the number of participants, with a stop for lunch or a picnic in Ouarzazate. After about 7 h 30 on the road, arrival in Marrakech at the end of the day.
