These stupas are said to have been built by the famous emperor Ashoka. Many of the architectures date from the 1600s and were built during the period of the Malla kings, especially under the reign of King Siddhi Narsingh Malla and his son Srinivasa Sukriti. Ideally perched atop a ridge at 1,592 m, the "Serene Hill Resort" offers a spectacular panorama of the entire Annapurna range, stretching from east to west, as well as well-preserved rural villages just below these imposing peaks. Looking 700 m down from the summit of Sarangkot, you can admire impressive views of the Pokhara valley, Phewa Lake, and many other sites. Devid Fall: Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), Devi's Fall (also called Devin or David) is a superb waterfall located about 2 km southwest of Pokhara airport, on the highway to Tansen. An interesting modern legend tells that a foreigner named David was bathing in the Pardi Khola (river) when the dam gates were opened, sweeping him into an underground passage beneath the waterfall, never to be seen again. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: This is probably the longest and most attractive cave in South Asia, located in the northwest part of Pokhara, a world-renowned tourist destination in the Gandaki zone and Kaski district. Ancestors called this place Khatri Tara. Bindabasini Temple: The Bindabasini Temple is located near Bagar, in Pokhara, Nepal. It is believed that King Siddhi Narayan Shah of Kaski brought the deity to Pokhara before the unification of Nepal. The Bindabasini Temple is also located in the city of Birgunj, Nepal, which is said to be connected to the Pokhara temple. Here, the goddess Bindabasini, sister of the good Durga, is worshipped. Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace complex, which was the Nepalese royal residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch, took place. The main sites to see at Kathmandu Durbar are: the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Museum, Gaddi Baithak, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, and various other temples. Swoyambhunath Stupa: An ancient religious architecture stands atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, to the west of the city. The stupa embodies one of the fundamental disciplines of Buddhism for people who consider the mythological history, the origin myth, and daily religious practice to be of great importance. It is probably the most sacred among the other Buddhist pilgrimage sites throughout Nepal. Some people believe that, just by being present near the holy site, you will not only receive inner peace and blessing, but also a positive impact on your luck and well-being. It is also called the Monkey Temple. Bhaktapur: The city is also known as a museum of medieval art and architecture, with many examples of sculpture, wood carving, and colossal pagoda temples dedicated to different gods and goddesses. It is located 15 km from Kathmandu. It is a conglomeration of pagodas and Shikhar-style temples grouped around a brick and wood palace with fifty-five windows. The square is one of the most beautiful architectural jewels of the valley, as it showcases the ancient arts of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings, perched atop stone monoliths, the guardian deities watching from their shrines, the wood carvings in all places—legs, lintels, posts, tympanums, doors, and windows—all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony. Pottery and weaving are its main traditional industries. Overnight at the hotel.
