    Train New Delhi - Chandigarh

    After breakfast, welcome by our team and transfer to the train station. Boarding your train to Chandigarh. This train journey will allow you to rest after the flight. Upon arrival, transfer to Shimla, the former summer capital of the British. Shimla stands at 2,205 meters. The city is perched on a ridge and surrounded by hills and pine forests.     Shimla - Sarahan

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by Jeep for Saharan (1950 meters) via Narkanda (3690 meters). This journey will follow the old trade route between Tibet and India. Visit of the royal palace of the Maharaja of Rampur. Sarahan is located facing the superb Shrikhand Mahadev ridge. Crowned with eternal snows, the town rises to more than 5000 meters. This wonderful little wooden village surrounds the Bhimakali temple, a combination of Buddhist and Hindu art. Lunch and dinner at your leisure. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

    Sarahan - Bhimakali Temple - Sangla

    Breakfast at the hotel. You will follow the Baspa river to reach Sangla, at 2,680 meters. This small town is perched on a steep slope and is dominated by the immense Kinnaur Kailash, which rises to 6,660 meters. Its wooden houses with curved roofs are surely the most beautiful in the region. The view from the other bank is breathtaking. You will visit Kamru Fort, now transformed into a Hindu temple, and camp on the banks of the Baspa river. Lunch and dinner are not included. Check-in and overnight stay in a guesthouse.

    Sangla - Chitkul - Sangla

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Chitkul, at 3436 meters, the last village accessible by road in the Sangla valley. To reach it, you will follow the valley up to the glacier, which offers incredible viewpoints. You will camp on the banks of the Baspa river. Lunch and dinner at your leisure.     Sangla - Kalpa

    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Kalpa, perched at 3,436 meters. It is a beautiful small village located in the Sutlej valley. The inhabitants of Kalpa grow fruits and vegetables on land of pine forests and rocks. Lunch and dinner at leisure. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

    Kalpa

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of Kalpa. Its temples are the most important in the region and many festivals attract inhabitants from the surrounding valleys. You will surely witness a procession around the main temple, located in the center of the town. This group of temples has been finely carved in wood and many deities, Hindu and Buddhist, are represented there. The immense rocky massifs surrounding it seem to have always protected this place. In a landscape of mountains covered with pine forests, you will climb towards a high-altitude desert on one of the most impressive roads in the Himalayas. Stop to visit Nako, a small village with Tibetan influence that surrounds a small high-altitude lake, surrounded by poplars, reaching over 3660 meters. Lunch and dinner are free.     Nako - Tabo

    Breakfast at the camp or guesthouse. Departure for Tabo, a major spiritual center of Buddhism, famous for its monastery listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this arid valley, Tabo appears as an oasis of greenery. Its monastery houses magnificent paintings and sculptures, illuminated by rays of sunlight coming through small openings ingeniously arranged to enhance the different rooms. Lunch and dinner are free. Night in guesthouse.

    Tabo - Dhankar - Kaza

    Breakfast at the guesthouse. Departure for Kaza via the Dhankar monastery, perched on a rocky peak. Dhankar overlooks the valley and seems inaccessible. You will reach the small village by a winding road and visit this magical and ancient place. 150 monks live all year round in this grand and lunar landscape. You will continue your journey towards Kaza, a former important trading crossroads on the Silk Road. Lunch and dinner at your leisure. Overnight in guesthouse.

    Kaza - Key - Kaza

    Breakfast at the guesthouse. Visit to the Key Monastery, reaching an altitude of 4116 meters. It is the largest monastery in Spiti. Built on a rocky ridge in the heart of the valley, its splendor never fails to impress visitors. It houses many paintings and rare manuscripts, written in the ancient Bhoti language of Tibetan origin. Afternoon at leisure. Lunch and dinner at your own expense. Overnight at the guesthouse.

    Kaza - Kibber - Chandratal

    Breakfast at the guesthouse. Departure for Kibber, one of the highest villages in the world, located at an altitude of 4,400 meters. The inhabitants, accustomed to extreme conditions, hibernate all winter to protect themselves from the winter cold, subsisting thanks to the summer harvests. You will therefore see many villagers working tirelessly to accumulate enough resources. You will get back on the road to reach Chandratal, the Moon Lake, peaking at 4,300 meters, located in an exceptional site. Lunch and dinner at your leisure. Overnight in a tent or at the guesthouse.

    Chandratal - Manali

    Breakfast at the camp or guesthouse. Departure by Jeep for Manali. The road is striking: from a high-altitude desert, you will cross the rocky valley of Lahaul to reach the lush Kullu Valley, covered with pine forests and surrounded by waterfalls. Arrival in Manali. Lunch and dinner at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the surroundings of Manali. You will set out to discover the villages of Vashisht and Naggar. The hot springs of Vashisht attract many locals who enjoy this friendly place to meet up. Visit the Naggar Castle, which overlooks the valley.
