• day 1

  Zhangjiajie - Arrival

  (There is a direct flight from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Hangzhou to Zhangjiajie) Arrival in Zhangjiajie and welcome. The Zhangjiajie prefecture is famous for its national forest park, which (together with the Tianzi Mountains and Suoxi Valley) forms the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Check-in at the hotel.

• day 2

  Zhangjiajie

  A day trip to Huangshizhai and Golden Whip Brook. Ascent by elevator to a hill to enjoy the beautiful view of Huangshizhai, from which you can see nearly half of the peaks of Zhangjiajie. Then, a 2h30 walk (7.5 km) in the Golden Whip Brook valley through magnificent landscapes. Return to the hotel.

• day 3

  Zhangjiajie

  Ascent to the Tianzi Mountains (Sons of Heaven, 1,250 m) by cable car (8,000 steps), overlooking an astonishing landscape of karst peaks and ancient rocks. Walk towards Helong Park and the Tianzi Tower. Continue to Yuanjiajie where you will find the "Hallelujah Mountain" from the movie "Avatar". Descent with the Bailong elevator, the largest outdoor elevator in the world (326 m). Visit Shi Li Hua Lang, which is the valley of natural beauties. Return to the hotel.

• day 4

  Fenghuang – Zhangjiajie – Next destination

  Discovery of Fenghuang with your guide: the ancient residences of the philosopher XIONG and the writer SHEN. Then, visit the Rainbow Bridge and the Miao ethnic museum. Boat ride on the Tuo River to admire local life. Return to Zhangjiajie to take the flight to the next destination.
