Start with a visit to the old town, where you can easily dedicate two whole days. It should not be missed: the Wailing Wall, the esplanade of the mosques and the Dome of the Rock, the Holy Sepulchre.
Spend this second day in the old town on the tour of what you did not have the opportunity to discover the day before. Make a few purchases at the Souk and, if you still have forces, climb to the top of the Mount des Oliviers for a beautiful view of the city.
Head to the new city for this last day in the holy city. Do not miss the visit of the Yad Vashem Memorial, in memory of the victims of the Shoah, and themusée d'Israël. Stroll through the alleys of Mea She Arim, the ultra-Orthodox Jewish quarter. In the evening, go to one of the many bars on Salomon or Rivlin streets.
From Jerusalem, you can go to the Dead Sea in about 1 hour. There you can try the experience of a swim in this sea where the density of salt is such that a human being can easily float there. You will also find thermal baths to take, among other things, sulphur baths and bathe in the Dead Sea, in order to obtain a clean and soft skin.
If the Dead Sea is the subject of a beautiful day excursion, it will be easy to spend a day exploring Ein Gedi's magnificent nature reserve and the ruins of Masada fortress. The most courageous can climb at the top of the mountain to attend the sunrise.
Few tourists stop in Tel Aviv, yet this vibrant and cosmopolitan city is worth looking at least one day before resuming its flight. Between beaches, museums, art galleries, nightlife and craft markets, there is no time to get bored. After the visit of Jerusalem, a holy and venerated city, then that of Tel Aviv, a secular and unbridled agglomeration, you will have had a beautiful overview of the various faces of Israeli society.
Visit the old town of Jaffa, attached to Tel Aviv. Stroll through its picturesque alleys, where you can find workshops and art galleries. Eat on the harbour in one of the many fish restaurants.
