Today, visit the colourful market in the picturesque fishing port of Marsaxlokk on your own, where fishermen's stalls, market gardeners' stalls, sweet shops and Maltese handicrafts are all on display. You will also walk along the waterfront with its colourful fishing boats and café terraces.
You continue to the small harbour of Wied iz-urrieq, where you can take a traditional boat (to be paid for on the spot) to admire the incredible shade of blue of the sublime Blue Grotto.

The narrow, winding streets, which date back to medieval times, lead to imposing bastions, offering a magnificent view of the island.
