Roadtrip in Jordan

You arrive in Jordan. You are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the Red Sea resort of Aqaba. Get to know the city of Aqaba and soak up its atmosphere. Enjoy your first local meal before returning to your hotel.

Today, after a good breakfast and a bath in the Red Sea, you will go to meet the Bedouins! Join Wadi Rum, this immense desert of canyons, natural arches, sand dunes, all in ochre and pink tones. You will meet the Bedouin, a nomadic people living in this exceptional setting. They will welcome you in their camp where you will spend the night.

After a night in the desert, you leave in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia on board a 4x4, and you walk for 2 hours through the magnificent desert of Wadi Rum. You will then reach the saltiest sea in the world, the Dead Sea, where you will experience the amazing feeling of floating in its salty water. You then head south of Amman to the charming and lively town of Madaba.

Spend your morning in Madaba viewing its famous mosaic, the Map of Madaba, before heading to the fabulous Mount Nebo. From its summit you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Jordan River. Enjoy the view before heading back to Amman, the Jordanian capital.

Join the impressive archaeological site of Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Then head into the higher reaches of the region where you visit the medieval fortress of Ajlun Castle. At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Amman, where you will spend the night.

You take the road to Petra. On the way, you will stop at Dana for a gentle hike in the heart of its natural reserve, in the midst of an abundant and colourful nature. After this beautiful walk, out of time, in an exceptional setting, you take the road again, to reach this time the archaeological site, built by the Nabateans during the 1st millennium, "Little Petra". You will then return to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Here you are in the unmissable city of vermilion, the mythical Petra! Take the day to visit this incredible ancient city! Admire the fabulous walls of the Siq, carved in ochre-coloured rock. Visit the Nabatean tomb, Khazneh, go to the place where sacrifices were made and explore the Deir Monastery. At the end of the day, take time to enjoy the sunset on the Siq walls, before returning to your hotel.

You leave Petra, and return to Aqaba, on the Red Sea, the starting point of your trip. Take advantage of your last moments in Jordan to do your shopping and, depending on your flight schedule, return your car and take your transfer to the airport.
